Shatter

Shatter

Shatter is an Extract from the Cannabis Flower using a Closed Loop BHO system. It comes in a variety of consistencies, including being hard like glass and almost as soft as toffee. The most common way to consume Shatter is by Dabbing it. This is where the use of a Dab Rig (Very similar to a Bong) comes in to play. The Banger or Nail (the Bowl) gets heated prior to the Shatter going into it and being smoked. Shatter can also be added to a Joint, it can be consumed orally, or Vaped. There is lots of information on the net to check out all kinds of ways and tips to consume your Shatter! Shatter can contain up to 90% THC, so be careful, as it is very potent! All of our Shatter is made IN HOUSE, so you can expect a Quality Product!

Positive Effects of Shatter:

Like regular marijuana, your effects depend largely on the marijuana you consume. If it's an indica-dominant cannabis strain, you'll likely feel a full-bodied feeling, whereas a high sativa strain is generally more cerebral.

However, because shatter is so concentrated, any effect is much more intense. Shatter can be up to four to five times more powerful than the flowers it comes from. Having such a potent cannabis option on the market can be a game-changer for patients who have a higher tolerance or greater pain.

Milder, weaker products may be great for beginners, but they simply don't offer the relaxation, happiness, or relief that strong concentrates like shatter do. The most common positive effect of Shatter is the strong dose of calm and euphoria that such successes usually bring. Although the experience is different for everyone, many consumers report feeling extremely relaxed and happy from head to toe.

Medical Benefits of Shatter:

Shatter is a long-lasting and highly potent cannabis concentrate ideal for treating medical marijuana patients suffering from chronic pain. Shatter is highly concentrated and contains high doses of THC, resulting in significant pain and stress relief. Overall, many people turn to cannabis for its anti-inflammatory properties, which provide the body with a natural dose of pain relief.

With THC levels as high as Shatter, such effects are clearly visible. In small doses, shatter can stimulate appetite, improve mood, and reduce tension. Here too, the medical benefits of smashing are very individual. Each person will likely receive different benefits depending on their needs. Overall, the medical benefits of shatter (and other concentrates) are still being researched.

Shatter vs Marijuana Flowers:

Shatter is simply a concentrated flower form. The flower has decayed and destroyed, leaving only remnants of oils, cannabinoids and terpenes. This oil is then cured, dried and hardened to achieve the thin, glassy consistency it is known for. Compared to flowers, these two forms of cannabis couldn't be further apart. As far as power goes, as mentioned, the Shatter will be much, much stronger than your average flower.

Cannabis flowers typically have a THC level of 15-25%, while shatter achieved high results back in the 90s. Of course,  you can easily crush, handle and manipulate flower; It's impossible to break it down. Shatter is extremely gentle and shatters at the slightest touch. For this reason, shatter is more difficult to smoke but has much higher potency.

Shatter vs. Cannabis Concentrates:

Shatter belongs to the family of cannabis wax concentrates. It's one most potent forms of THC on the market, but it's also one of the hardest to get. Compared to other concentrates on the market, shatter's delicate composition makes it difficult to use.

Concentrates such as buds or wax are much more viscous, creating a mask that is elastic and easy to handle. However, thanks to its unique formulation, Shatter still sits at the top of the concentrates list due to its pure, unrefined structure and intense THC content.

You should only try this form of cannabis if you have previously used other concentrates. Sometimes it can be difficult to find a piece depending on where you live. Due to its potency and rigorous extraction/purification process, this form of concentrate is somewhat rarer than wax, donut, or even regular sauce.

How does it compare to Edibles

Cannabis edibles have very different effects on consumers than other marijuana products. Once ingested, THC reacts differently with the body and generally causes a longer, more intense effect. Keep in mind that some brands make their food products from concentrates. This gives you a much stronger effect as you combine the high THC content from degradation with the long-lasting effects of cannabis digestion.

How do you make shatter?

How the swarm is created depends on the company that produces it. Manufacturers rely on solvents such as butane, CO2 or ethanol to completely destroy the plant material, leaving only residual oils to isolate THC and other cannabinoids. After purifying the extract from residual solvents, Shatter undergoes an extremely rigorous purification process to obtain a transparent composition.

In contrast to other concentrates, the concentrate remains completely intact when dried. When the particles remain intact, this wax takes on a glassy appearance.

We do not recommend trying this procedure at home. Making concentrates can be an extremely dangerous task if you have no experience and are not using the correct equipment. Producing high-quality concentrates requires advanced technology and laboratory space. We strongly recommend to entrust this process to professionals.

How to take Shatter?
Dabbing:

Dabbing a piece is the most common and effective method of consumption. To do this, you will need a dab rig, a mini flashlight, a dab tool, a smoking accessory, and a smasher. This process involves heating the nail with a burner on the form holder or where you place the stamp. Heat until red.

Next, pick up a small splinter from the piercing tool and insert it into the nail once it is no longer bright red. Breathe in through the mouthpiece. Once the residue has evaporated from the tool, place it on the carburetor cap, inhale again, and then exhale. That's all you need.

Vapes:

Vaping is another very popular way to enjoy shatter. To vape shatter, you will need a dry herb vaporizer or a vaporizer that can produce sufficient heat. You can also heat Shatter and mix with terpenes and place into a vape cartridge if technology allows. This is a much more discreet and simpler option than full clutch. We recommend for people who don't have much experience with concentrates.

Smoking in a bong or pipe:

This method is a little more difficult because it is difficult to heat the shards to the correct temperature. We recommend to warm up the shaker before inserting it into your bong or pipe. To enjoy a piece of shake in a bong or pipe, you must first break it into small pieces and pour it into a bowl. We recommend to mix the chopped buds with the shatter and not leave them on top.

Add to Pre-Roll Joint:

Many users mix shatter with marijuana or tobacco. This ensures good burning. When adding to the pre-roll, make sure the it is well blended. You must burn the joint slowly and carefully to ensure an even and complete burn.

How to Store Shatter?

Like most cannabis products, we recommend storing shatter in a dark, cool place and in an airtight container. Too much light, air, or cold temperatures can impair decomposition and break down terpenes and cannabinoids. As a result, it will no longer be as strong and flavorful as before.

If possible, opaque silicone containers provide the best preservation because no additional light or air can penetrate. Make sure any breaks are always properly marked and sealed. You don't want shatter to fall into the wrong hands, especially given its high potency.

Side effects:

Since the THC content reaches 90%, we don't recommend Shatter for beginners. Even in small doses, this powerful concentrate can be harmful. Some possible side effects may include dizziness, paranoia, nausea, and anxiety. Dry mouth and eyes as well as high levels of disability are likely, so be prepared!

If you experience any of these symptoms, daily activities such as showering, eating, or drinking water can help resolve them and reduce unpleasant effects.
